How to build a giant Birch Log in Minecraft
The Birch Log block, 16 times bigger: every pixel of its real texture becomes one block. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 16 × 16 × 16 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 1,352 blocks hollow (21 stacks + 8), 4,096 solid
- 16 layers from the bottom up
- 9 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Stripped Birch Wood | 370 (5 stacks + 50) |
| Smooth Quartz | 316 (4 stacks + 60) |
| Snow Block | 302 (4 stacks + 46) |
| Bone Block | 210 (3 stacks + 18) |
| Cyan Terracotta | 66 (1 stack + 2) |
| Gray Concrete | 38 |
| Mushroom Stem | 28 |
| Smooth Sandstone | 12 |
| Stripped Oak Wood | 10 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
