How to build a giant Blast Furnace in Minecraft

The Blast Furnace block, 16 times bigger: every pixel of its real texture becomes one block. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.

Blocks you need

For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.

BlockCount
Gray Concrete455 (7 stacks + 7)
Cyan Terracotta448 (7 stacks)
Andesite158 (2 stacks + 30)
Light Gray Concrete109 (1 stack + 45)
Stone60
White Concrete60
Smooth Stone29
Clay24
Black Concrete9

How to build it

  1. Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
  2. Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
  3. Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
