How to build an Ender Dragon statue in Minecraft
The Ender Dragon from the real game model, turned into blocks: one block for every pixel of its texture. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 238 × 49 × 260 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 38,238 blocks hollow (22 shulker boxes + 3 stacks + 30), 109,862 solid
- 49 layers from the bottom up
- 9 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Black Concrete | 31,122 (486 stacks + 18) |
| Stone | 2,381 (37 stacks + 13) |
| Cyan Terracotta | 1,765 (27 stacks + 37) |
| Light Gray Concrete | 1,569 (24 stacks + 33) |
| Andesite | 834 (13 stacks + 2) |
| Gray Concrete | 380 (5 stacks + 60) |
| Gray Wool | 173 (2 stacks + 45) |
| Magenta Wool | 8 |
| Magenta Concrete | 6 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
