How to build a Sulfur Cube statue in Minecraft
The Sulfur Cube from the real game model, turned into blocks: one block for every pixel of its texture. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 18 × 18 × 18 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 1,736 blocks hollow (1 shulker box + 8), 5,832 solid
- 18 layers from the bottom up
- 8 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Smooth Sandstone | 488 (7 stacks + 40) |
| Light Gray Concrete | 399 (6 stacks + 15) |
| Green Terracotta | 354 (5 stacks + 34) |
| Black Concrete | 280 (4 stacks + 24) |
| Gray Concrete | 195 (3 stacks + 3) |
| Stripped Dark Oak Wood | 16 |
| Brown Concrete | 2 |
| Terracotta | 2 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
