How to build a giant Bee Nest in Minecraft

The Bee Nest block, 16 times bigger: every pixel of its real texture becomes one block. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.

Blocks you need

For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.

BlockCount
Yellow Wool372 (5 stacks + 52)
Yellow Terracotta173 (2 stacks + 45)
Stripped Birch Wood166 (2 stacks + 38)
Yellow Concrete150 (2 stacks + 22)
Stripped Spruce Wood135 (2 stacks + 7)
Brown Wool122 (1 stack + 58)
Stripped Jungle Wood109 (1 stack + 45)
Brown Mushroom Block102 (1 stack + 38)
Brown Concrete17
Brown Terracotta6

How to build it

  1. Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
  2. Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
  3. Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
