How to build an Armadillo statue in Minecraft
The Armadillo from the real game model, turned into blocks: one block for every pixel of its texture. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 10 × 10 × 18 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 561 blocks hollow (8 stacks + 49), 1,182 solid
- 10 layers from the bottom up
- 5 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Stripped Cherry Wood | 160 (2 stacks + 32) |
| Stripped Mangrove Wood | 148 (2 stacks + 20) |
| Pink Terracotta | 103 (1 stack + 39) |
| Light Gray Terracotta | 78 (1 stack + 14) |
| Netherrack | 72 (1 stack + 8) |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
