How to build a giant Loom in Minecraft
The Loom block, 16 times bigger: every pixel of its real texture becomes one block. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 16 × 16 × 16 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 1,352 blocks hollow (21 stacks + 8), 4,096 solid
- 16 layers from the bottom up
- 12 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Red Terracotta | 222 (3 stacks + 30) |
| Mangrove Wood | 176 (2 stacks + 48) |
| Stripped Mangrove Wood | 172 (2 stacks + 44) |
| Dark Oak Wood | 118 (1 stack + 54) |
| Stripped Jungle Wood | 117 (1 stack + 53) |

| Stripped Spruce Wood | 112 (1 stack + 48) |

How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
