How to build a giant Red Bed in Minecraft
The Red Bed block, 16 times bigger: every pixel of its real texture becomes one block. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 16 × 9 × 32 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 1,692 blocks hollow (26 stacks + 28), 3,396 solid
- 9 layers from the bottom up
- 10 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Snow Block | 286 (4 stacks + 30) |
| Stripped Oak Wood | 285 (4 stacks + 29) |
| Red Wool | 272 (4 stacks + 16) |
| Red Concrete | 241 (3 stacks + 49) |
| Brown Mushroom Block | 154 (2 stacks + 26) |
| Stripped Jungle Wood | 131 (2 stacks + 3) |
| Stripped Spruce Wood | 118 (1 stack + 54) |
| White Concrete | 98 (1 stack + 34) |
| Red Mushroom Block | 57 |
| Clay | 50 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
