How to build a Dolphin statue in Minecraft
The Dolphin from the real game model, turned into blocks: one block for every pixel of its texture. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 20 × 12 × 38 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 815 blocks hollow (12 stacks + 47), 1,422 solid
- 12 layers from the bottom up
- 5 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| White Concrete | 465 (7 stacks + 17) |
| Clay | 333 (5 stacks + 13) |
| Light Blue Terracotta | 13 |
| Obsidian | 2 |
| Snow Block | 2 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
