How to build a Pufferfish statue in Minecraft
The Pufferfish from the real game model, turned into blocks: one block for every pixel of its texture. Plan it, gather the exact blocks and build it layer by layer.
- 12 × 10 × 10 blocks (wide × tall × long)
- 399 blocks hollow (6 stacks + 15), 647 solid
- 10 layers from the bottom up
- 9 kinds of block
Blocks you need
For the hollow build at real size, with 1-block walls. In the builder you can pick other block groups, a different size (½× up to 16×) or a solid build, and the list changes with it.
| Block | Count |
|---|---|
| Yellow Terracotta | 131 (2 stacks + 3) |
| Smooth Sandstone | 120 (1 stack + 56) |
| Snow Block | 54 |
| Yellow Concrete | 50 |
| Lime Terracotta | 23 |
| Stripped Birch Wood | 14 |
| Yellow Wool | 3 |
| Gray Concrete | 2 |
| Jungle Wood | 2 |
How to build it
- Plan: choose the blocks you have, the size, hollow or solid, and the build direction.
- Gather: get the exact block list in stacks and shulker boxes, or download it as a Litematica schematic.
- Build: place one layer at a time, with a 3D view and a 2D map of each layer that counts the blocks in every row.
